For anyone else who wants more info before purchasing, I decided to provide it, as it doesn't appear in the item description at this time.First, taste: Good chocolate flavor, a little sweet for my tastes. I bet that's why Diane Aliprandi's kids like it better than Carnation Instant Breakfast. :-) Anyway, I tend to be a little sensitive to the sweetness of things, so take that with a grain of salt. This is bizarre, but I've noticed that it has a little bit of an odd smell to it. Not offensive, but lingering... ?? If you follow the Slim-Fast plan to the 'T' you will lose weight. Using Slim Fast/Healthy Choice diet combined with exercise and more water then I can calculate, I lost 30lbs in 50 days. Of course I was hungry at times which is to be expected when you go on a low cal diet but it was nothing an apple and a liter of water couldn't fix!. My weight fluctuated only by about 7lbs +/- after I went off of Slim Fast. This helps us last till supper (we do eat an afternoon 300 to 400 calorie snack). My recipe is:1 cup crushed ice 1/2 to 3/4 cup frozen mixed berries 2 1/4 cup 1% milk 1 sliced banana 2 scoops slim fast mix all in blender and enjoy...it is like having a thick milkshake for breakfast and is extremely nutritional!! I can't imagine having anything else. We are in our late 50s" and my last blood tests amazed my Doc - said it was that of a healthy teenager. We are not excercise people but this gives us great energy and have lost weight. |
